The good old childhood. Still I remember my school days....Ofcourse all will remember but the freedom, liberty and what not we had during our schooling? Seeing the present hectic activity of a kid from Nursery to higher studies.........Oh! unimaginable....Is it not? Think on this.

Wearing a nicker and shirt of PARENT's choice (repeat)... taking food plus some pickle and ghee with yesterday's rice (ofcourse we call it as Chaddi annam ... how many of the present generation knows about it and also its taste?), reaching one hour before to school (without cheppals or shoes or NIKE, ADIDAS etc.) throwing the bag at one corner and start playing in the huge ground (ofcourse this large ground is beyond imagination for the present generation schools) till the first and second bell alerts. Fighting for a place in the first bench to catch the eye of teacher..... Again interval and play starts (No hot pack meals.... no pocket money to eat PIZZA, BURGER and Cool Drink which were not heard yet all).

Reaching home in the evening and again taking food with curry, dal etc.. Again playing, playing till mother starts scolding to read ... finally starts reading before father reaches the house with a loud voice as if it was done hours together (in kerosene lamps shade) .... Sleeping (not with any AC, Cooler, Cot with matress etc.,) wherever gets sleep.

Sudden interruption to sleep again in the early hours with mummy's early prayer to get up and start reading... not hearing to...leading to fathers ferocious voice which automatically makes to awake if not final retreat i.e. beating by father.... Compelled to read (pretended to be reading)..
LIFE STARTS again....Eating chaddi annam...........................
